Weekend.

So on the weekend i took a little trip to...

a place that looks like some sort of... futuristic resort. The seats are so funky!

Can even pass as some place in England if not for the engineering building lurking behind it! So actually, i just went to *ahemhogwartsahem* USYD open day.

Overall, would be disappointing if you are looking for a bag load of freebies to take home or interesting lectures to attend, not to mention the hideous looking architecture building. But luckily for me, i was more interested in touring the campus and eating at the Manning Bar.

Watch me nom away at that juicy Caesar burger. Lunch was good until i knocked over my orange juice (still okay in the picture above) and got it on my pants and on Nana's feet...which then seeped into her shoe...heh..."juicy feet". Oops.

Speaking of shoe, walking in semi heels also wasn't such a great idea especially trekking around the campus all day. I was late and grabbed the first pair i saw and ran out of the door. They were nice looking and were comfortable ish to walk in ... until of course, i developed a blister.

Hmmm, cant really see the heel from here, but you can see Soph's 4 inch heels. Crazy! We walked around for 6 hours or so.
The business lecture was also very boring indeed, can read all this in your UAC guide! And of course, they got one of their brightest and geekiest student to talk aswell. Join us commerce people! ==" Yes... But then something random happened. The lecture was terribly full and so we were forced to sit in the aisle until "Some guy" (who wants to be known as "seagull" and "good looking") decided to shove over and let us sit. He then asked if i knew who he was (at that point i was slightly creeped out maybe) but turns out was just a friend i went to year 2 with and that i havent seen in literally ten years ( i do remmeber him actually) ! I thought that was freakin' cool, what a coincidence!

...and then on my way back to city, i saw this sign. Cafe Suss ay? So suss it doesn't even have an entrance?

... and i hope you know what this sugary tube of fried goodness is. Yes, it is a churros. I had my first the other day and it was SO yummeh! It was so fatty but so yummeh! But ... usually, all the yummy foods are fatteh.

My day ended with a movie "Four lions". Erm, the accent is slightly hard for me to understand but that's just me but for the bits i did get =P it was pretty amusing. Watch if you enjoy watching stuff getting blown up.

Sunday was dedicated to painting like a mad woman but now it is all finished! Woohoo to all art students! I dont have to paint no mores!

Tomorow you should all grab out your floral sunny gear and ditch the winter stuff. It's time to get excited for Spring !

Friday bludge days.

Thankgoodness its Friday! FFFF------ ! I'm so tired too and here's what i did today.

#1. Ate my weight in food. Fridays are also fat days because food consumption levels on fridays usually are extraordinarily high. If i eat anymore, i think i will actually either explode or throw up everything i ate today ( i don't want to do that :( waste of perfectly awesome food)

...and here's a few photos of my "fresh" makeup less face complete with eyebags and tree coloured uniform. Ahem, thankfully lighting was ok.

#2. Learnt in Biology that some Africans actually believed that sleeping with a virgin will cure their HIV AIDS wtf ! So they decided to rape children wtf even more!!! FTL.

#3. Wasted more than half an hour of my life at Espionage. Eh, so i hear they were giving away free sneakers so as a result i was dragged there. They claimed that you can have the shoe for free if it fits you....erm, i believe they should have a massive asterisk * next to that because only about two people got free shoes because they never mentioned that shoe sizes had to be drawn from some stupid dip? No freakin' idea.

#4. I got my awkward turtle!!!!

Turns out, it also makes a good phone holder! So cute! Can get yours now from WongFu productions. And if you dont know what awkward turtle is...well, you are a very awkward person indeed.

#5. Decided to finally blog on my blogspot. Having two blogs is actually proving to be slightly difficult. If you are interested in the other stuff i posted this week can read it on www.jaynex.tumblr.com!

I'm off !

Im weird.

I’m weird i know, but my excuse is that weird people make normal people feel normal. Afterall, without strange people, life wouldn't be interesting right?

#1. I don’t eat cheese (with maybe the exception of mozarella, parmesan smells like vomit to me ewww) but i eat cheese flavoured stuff. I enjoy my cheesels, doritos, eat pizza (depends on which one) and have mega cravings for cheesecake right now. NOM.

Can really do with a slice of this right now! Strawberry cheesecake is the best.

#2. I don’t like being in large bodies of water but enjoy looking at water and love aquariums. I love sea animals but dislike that i can’t touch them! When i was younger i used to own goldfish but got quite annoyed at the fact that i could only ever look at them and can’t touch them. Errr dont worry, this is not why they died. I went on holidays and left the fish with an elderly couple….when i came back…half the goldfishes were dead. The rest died a week later. R.I.P. Splishy and Splashy + the rest i can't remember names of...

#3. I don’t know how to ride a bike. Never learnt and probably never will learn.

#4. I dont eat Vietnamese or Thai food unless its pho or pad thai.

#5. I can’t take chilli at all, my chilli tolerance level is mega low. The most i can tolerate is sweet chilli sauce. This is apparently quite strange for an asian.

#6. While i can’t tolerate chilli, i can has wasabi! Not in giant amounts, but i have it with my sushi. Funny story actually, when i was 5, my cousin thought it would be hilarious to scoop a whole spoon of wasabi and lie to me that it was actually a spoon of green tea icecream...then i was gullible enough to eat it. FML!

#7. I mentioned this before but…i dislike odd numbers unless they end with 5.

#8. Can’t cook but enjoys baking. Cookies for dinner?

#9. Does not know how to play any form of card games…maybe played uno once. Does not know how to play mahjong. This is apparently, very shocking to asians. FML, its not my fault okay?!

#10. The weather affects my mood. Also cannot eat large amounts of seafood :O.

Do you feel more normal nao?

The other blog.

...and suddenly, i have a blogspot -shock horror-. I bet you are thinking in confusion...wtf!!! What happened to your Tumblr?!!!!

WELL! I'll still be on Tumblr but as i discussed with Sam Low , i felt like i needed some time off Tumblr sometimes. Don't get me wrong, being a Tumblr user myself i think Tumblr is easy to use, simple, o so cool and is filled with countless amounts of pretty pictures. But what irks me about Tumblr is that some people just spend all their time "Reblogging" other peoples stuff and they dont actually write/post anything of their own. To me, if an entire blog is just dedicated to copying things from others i don't see as much value in it. I guess different people have different opinions of what a blog should be like but for me i like to also see a bit of writing and not just people constantly reblogging pictures of skinny girls smoking.

Anyhow, if you are interested in the different viewpoints about Tumblr you can see it in Sam's post here:

http://secretsunday.tumblr.com/post/489998519/so-let-me-give-you-a-story-to-tell

=P And so now, i'll be on both Tumblr and Blogspot how cool is that? There's going to be more of me. I'll continue to post on Tumblr but if i get lazy i can procrastinate and post here instead.
